OUR STORY.... 

Charlie White graduated from Clemson University with a BS degree in Civil Engineering in 1975.  He worked for a design-building general contractor for several years pursuing a PE license until his passion for construction won out. He climbed the ladder in Project Management until becoming president of a major construction firm in SC and finally opened his own General Contracting business in 1986.  In 1993, seeing the gap between owners, real estate agents, attorneys, architects and engineers, municipal zoning/inspection professionals, he founded WBD DEVELOPMENT.

 
In the years that have followed, the service scope of WBD DEVELOPMENT has grown to include feasibility studies, pre-construction services, construction estimating and construction management services.  We now work on a wide variety of projects including various commercial, industrial, multifamily and residential projects.  Our projects include both new projects and alterations, additions and renovations to existing structures.

We remain very customer focused and specifically tailor our services to the customer's needs and budget.  We have some clients that use us as their estimating and construction management services on an ongoing basis, while others just use WBD DEVELOPMENT to perform limited quantity surveys and takeoffs from time to time.
